At work and nothing much to report. It is Rtardedly hot in here, and I am absolutely melting. Either there is something very wrong with my ability to regulate my body temperature or something wrong with all (3) of the buildings that I spend time in. I'm always either freezing cold or sweating buckets. Blah.
I love that my only complaints in life at the moment are tied to body temperature. Everything else is going wonderfully right now (*KNOCK ON WOOD!!!!!*) I leave Canada in a few short weeks and I think this is easily the most excited I've ever been about anything, ever.
I'm starting to stress a little, but it's all self-inflicted stress, brought on my guilt when I'm procrastinating and know I shouldn't be and it's easily overcome.
I'm going to miss this place; I have a great job, I've made some great friends and I live in a beautiful national park - but I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone back home that I haven't seen in 5.5+ months and I'm really looking forward to the part that comes after that, the end of the 108 day wait, when I'll fall into a state of ridiculous happiness which will somehow contrive to surpass what I'm feeling now.

Black Nail Polish
I really should have a tag for nail polish, since so many of my posts lately seem to be brought on by waiting for it to dry. Today it's black. I remember when black nail polish was completely badass, something only skids (Skids were what happened twenty years after Punks, ten years before Goths, fifteen before Emo kids) wore. Now, it's more Hmm, that's not as sparkly as your other nail polish. Anyway, I like it.
I've been at work for a little over an hour, just kind of hanging out, working on yet another story idea. I really ought to finish the millions of stories I've started, and I likely will finish at least a few before this one goes anywhere - I'm mostly just trying to get down everything that's in my brain, then it will stay in my lovely notebook until, one day when I'm going through said notebook, I go, "hmm. That was going to be a story."
I need to get containers and pack up all of my stuff that's at my parents' house, and it's just occuring to me now that one whole container will probably have to be devoted to my notebooks. I have a ridiculous number, upwards of fifty, and I don't see myself wanting to part with any of them - plus, most of them are full of story ideas and the very beginnings of some of my stories (which reminds me, I need to find the pic that sparked Aigaion Girl), and I don't want to lose those. Ugh. I'm such a packrat sometimes.
I'm sort of zoning out mid-blog, so maybe I'll cut this short. I may come back to it later, though; I still have another hand to paint.

And Other Bits of Random
Admittedly, this peacock has absolutely nothing to do with anything. I'm actually just a little addicted to the way this blog looks with pictures, and I thought he was pretty. So, the news of the day (not this day, in fact, but the 11th of February): I've moved back in with my parents. Not in any permenant way - I'll probably only be here for a few weeks. The reason, mainly, is money, or rather, an extreme lack thereof. Essentially, I had the option of paying a lot of money and staying in my apartment, or paying a little bit less money, and moving out, and since I plan to go to Costa Rica in March, and to leave for parts unknown in May, and since I have no job, it struck me as kind of silly to pay a lot of money for anything.
There probably would have been a post about this a lot sooner, except I've spent the past few days organizing my crap so as to minimize its impact on my parents' house. I have a lot of crap. Right now I'm set up in the living room on an excruciating chair-bed torture device. I get the feeling my back will always be stiff.
Other than moving stuff and organizing stuff, I've been kind of lazy over the past few days, not writing when I need to, working out when I need to or digging through the four industrial-size garbage bags of my dirty laundry that I need to. I'm giving myself the rest of today to be lazy, and then I'm kicking my butt into gear.
I think that's it for right now. More posts to follow, I'm very sure.
